Consecration of your Wand

A Wand is a magical tool which can be as simple as a tree branch, (Obviously never taken from a live tree without the tree's permission) or an elaborate bejewelled wand topped by a crystal.

Once you have the wand you intend to use, you will need the following items for the consecration ritual which must be carried out in in an unhurried way in an outside space:
A flat area to use as an altar (could be a large stone or clearing on the ground)
Salt.
Water (Never tap.)
2 small bowls you only use for your magical rituals, Place the salt in 1st bowl and the water in the 2nd bowl.
Matches.
Plain candle + Holder (Tea candles will be fine).
Incense sticks + Holder.
Small bottle of Essential Oil (lavender will do).

Small piece of silk fabric to wrap your wand after consecration has been completed.

1. Prepare yourself beforehand by having a ritual bath with 2 drops of the
essential oil in your bathwater to cleanse.

2. Always complete your Protection Spell.

3. Kneel or sit on the ground and light the candle and incense sticks, making sure
that they are firmly placed on the altar space and supported in their respective
holders.

4. Stand up and cast a circle around you.(you can do this in your mind or if
possible, physically on the ground)

5. Call on the elements in turn at the appropriate quarter starting with (Facing
East) Air and moving clockwise all the way round to Earth in the North and ask
for their blessings and energy.

6. Call on the Goddess and God in turn in the aspects you know them best (i.e Isis
and Osiris or Kali and Shiva etc) and ask for their blessings and energy.

7. Pass the wand through the incense smoke and blow the smoke over it as you do this
while saying "I purify and consecrate you with the power of the element of air".

As you do this, visualise in your mind's eye, winds blowing over and around the wand, removing any impurities and evil.

8. Pass the wand quickly through the candle flame saying "I purify and consecrate
you with the power of the element of fire".

As you do this, visualise fire caressing the wand all around burning away impurities and evil.

9. Sprinkle the wand with the water from your first bowl saying "I purify and
consecrate you with the power of the element of water".

As you do this, visualise water flowing all over and around the wand washing away any impurities.

10. Sprinkle the wand with salt from your second bowl saying "I purify and
consecrate you with the power of the element of earth".

As you do this. visualise the wand being surrounded by earth absorbing any impurities.

11. Anoint the wand with oil saying "I purify and consecrate you with the power of
the element of spirit". As you do this, visualise a beautiful and cleansing
gold light imbuing itself in the wand.

12. Thank and say farewell to the God and Goddess.

13. Thank and say farewell to the elements, in reverse from North, anti-clockwise
(widdershins) all the way round to the east.

14. Protection spell again to close down and keep you safe.

15. Open the circle. (If you have visualised the circle in your mind, just see
yourself walking out of the circle)

16. Wrap your wand in the silk fabric to protect and preserve the charge in it.

It is done.

Never allow anyone else to handle your magickal tools after consecration as the touch of another corrupts the charge and you will have to ground the item and re-consecrate it.

Ritual of Consecration

This is a little ritual I carry out when I have an item/talisman/piece of equipment, I wish to dedicate to a particular purpose, protection, love, or whatever.

Once you have the item, no matter what it's for , you need to make sure that it has a good positive charge.

You will need Lavender incense, a plain candle, water and salt.

Mix the water and salt, light the candle and incense, and Pass the talisman through the incense, and say: "I smudge you with air."
Pass over or through the candles flame, and say, "I kiss you with fire."
Anoint with salt water, saying: "Water and earth to seal my desire."
Place the item on a windowsill where nobody else can get hold of it by accident (Thus undoing the work you have just put in) for 24 hours to soak up the solar and lunar energies.

Then, it is done.

If you want to find out if the person you are interested in/with is your Soulmate (“the” one) use this little ritual.

Soulmate-Dream Ritual

You will need 3 almonds and 3 raisins - a cup of milk - 1 teaspoon of honey (any type)

Before you go to bed, put the almonds and raisins under your pillow.
Warm the milk, put it into a cup, add the teaspoon of honey and drink it.

Before you fall asleep keep that significant person in mind, then go to sleep.
While you dream, your dreams will tell if he/she really is your soul mate, So by the next morning you will know!!

Money Spell

You need for this Spells and Magic money spell:

5 old pennies, 5 dimes, 5 quarters (or, five each of three denominations of your country's coin currency, if outside the United States), 5 kernels of dried corn, 5 sesame seeds, 5 cinnamon sticks, 5 cloves, 5 whole allspice, 5 pecans.

Protection chant at this point to keep you safe.

Place each item into a thin, tall bottle, such as a spice bottle. Cap it tightly. Shake the bottle with your receptive hand (the one you do not write with) for 5 minutes while chanting these or similar words:
“Herbs and silver, Copper and grain; Work to increase my money gain”.

Protection chant again at this point to close and keep you safe.

Place the money spell bottle on a table somewhere in your house. Leave your purse, pocketbook, wallet and/or checkbook near the bottle when at home. Then just allow money to come into your life.

Spells and magic-spell of protection

Before starting any spells and magic, and when I have finished I always do this little chant to protect me from evil.

Make sure you are sitting comfortably and see yourself in your minds-eye sitting in the middle of a pentagram with your face looking upwards.

Imagine that there are 3 circles of purple light round you and say: "PROTECT ME WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT OH GODDESS-GRACIOUS, DAY AND NIGHT" say this three times then end the protection spell with the words "SO LET IT BE" Remember always to do this before and after any Spells and Magic.

This blog is all about Spells and Magic. (The white kind only-If you are looking for Black Magic, you are in the wrong place!!)

I have always been interested in the possibility that spells are a form of positive thinking and the result of action-and that magic can happen.
